Using FBCMU Resources

The Resource Page
Clicking RESOURCES from the home page will bring you to a table like this.

This page is constantly being updated and enhanced as we add new and exciting resources, but the overall layout will likely remain consistent.

To directly access the resource, simply click on the graphic on the left.  In the case of external resources, another link in the right column will take you to the home page of the resource provider.

External Resources
External resources will load into a resizable popup window as shown here.

In most cases, local resources, or further resource options will reload the current browser window.

Special Cases
Certain special cases, like the Bible Broadcasting Network, shown here, may open more than one window, and things may take awhile to get started.

While we've tried to make all the resources a single click away, there will be times, especially where streaming media are involved, when you may have to wait a few moments for the network to catch up with your mouse.

This is especially true if you've got an older machine, and a dial-up connection.

More on Media Resources
Using the Audio Bible, or MP3 Bible, you'll eventually load a file into your Real Player, Microsoft Media Player, or whatever player you use.

In the example shown here, a link was selected in the Audio Bible popup, which loaded Real Player to stream the audio.  If you're unfamiliar with streamed media, consult your player documentation.

Again, the key is patience.  Most of these things are pretty automatic, so chill out.  If you just can't get any of the media resources to work for you, drop me an email, and we'll get it worked out.   howard@fbcmu.org
